As I look out the window this morning, I can only smile at the beauty that floods over my front yard with the morning light.
The maple tree, that scatters it’s leaves across the lawn, reminds me that autumn will soon pass and these chilly mornings will give way to frigid morning temperatures, frozen ground and, hopefully, lots and lots of pure white snow. I am so ready for the shifting seasons but will enjoy each and every day of the current season as it literally soothes my soul.
Another reason this view from my kitchen window makes my heart jump with ‘giddy’ is that those swings that are simply too still will be in action next week as my little grandguys come for a visit.
